Adelaide Hills Chardonnay has a reputation of excellence based on a regional style that is crisp and vibrant. The Nepenthe Unoaked Chardonnay is a great example, with minimalist winemaking techniques allowing the varietal and regional qualities to reflect in the wine. The fruit is sourced from three vineyards, situated at Lenswood, Charleston and Echunga, each contribute unique nuances to the flavour profile of the wine. The Lenswood vineyard at a height of 510m is our coolest vineyard, producing fruit with fresh citrus and elegant structure. The Charleston and Echunga vineyards, at a lower altitude and therefore warmer, impart sweeter, tropical fruit.
