Sauvignon Blanc

Altitude range

A well-balanced, complex and creamy wine unique in character, classically Nepenthe.

Nepenthe has been producing Sauvignon Blanc since its inaugural vintage in 1997, throughout the ensuing years the Nepenthe Sauvignon Blanc has gained recognition as a benchmark within the industry. Sourced in the Adelaide Hills, the fruit is harvested in the early hours of the morning, taking advantage of the cool night air. The grapes are then crushed and chilled for 4 days followed by fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and French oak barrels. The result is a fresh, crisp and acidic wine showcasing apple and passionfruit characters with underlying herbaceous aroma’s.
