Nepenthe Collaborates on Bushfire Appeal Wine

Nepenthe has joined a group of Adelaide Hills wineries to produce a wine supporting the region’s bushfire recovery efforts.

The Hills Appeal Wine is a 2019 Syrah Meunier blended from barrels donated by 21 producers, which goes on sale today priced at $28.

In total, 10,800 bottles have been produced with proceeds from sales being donated to Adelaide Hills’ grape growers, winemakers and vineyard owners impacted by the December 2019 bushfires.

Adelaide Hills Wine Region's Executive Officer, Kerry Treuel, said: Production in the Hills has been lower than average these past few years so to see the generosity of these producers, donating multiple barrels to help make this blend really just shows the spirit of our local wine industry.
