The 2017 vintage was an extraordinary year in the Adelaide Hills. The cold, moist spring was ideal for flowering and fruit set and this cool trend continued through summer and into autumn when the grapes were picked.
The wine delivers vibrant fruit flavours and intensity with a lively acid backbone followed by a persistent, long finish. Passionfruit and gooseberry aromas dominate with hints of fresh cut grass and green apple. This wine pairs perfectly with seafood such as oysters, lobster, squid and white fleshed fish.
