This wine has enticing aromas of cherries, raspberries, and subtle potpourri notes. The palate has great depth of flavour, showcasing juicy red fruit, hints of dark cherry, and a touch of sweet spice, running into a long velvety finish. ‌

Overview

The grapes are handpicked in the cool of the night to protect the delicate fruit before transporting to the winery. 50% of the fruit was tipped directly into the fermenter as whole bunch, the rest was then crushed on top.

This traditional method helps boost the fruit aromas and gives complexity in the wine.

Once fermented the wine was matured in new and old French Hogsheads for 10 months.

Aroma

Lifted notes of cherries and raspberries and hints of potpourri.

Palate

An amazing depth of flavour consisting of red fruit with some dark cherry and sweet spice. The luscious mid palate then runs into a long velvety finish.
