Why it works;

Crab dishes require a white wine that's light with crisp acidity. Nepenthe Grüner Veltliner from the Adelaide Hills is the perfect white wine for making this dish sing. The high altitude and cool climate of our home in the Adelaide Hills provides all the elements required for perfect ripening of the grapes. The result is an elegant, well-balanced wine with a lovely zesty zing and good length.

This aromatic wine is delicious on its own. Crafted in a modern Australian style, this Grüner Veltliner displays exciting aromas of white nectarine, spice, and hints of honey. The zesty acidity of the wine cuts through the creamy sauce and goes well with the sweet and delicate taste of the crab, making it an ideal accompaniment and adding a lovely lightness to the dish.

This crab linguine paired with an elegant Nepenthe Altitude Grüner Veltliner or well-structured Nepenthe Pinnacle Grüner Veltliner is a combination that will delight your guests.
